The Georgetown University Center for Child and Human Development values the exchange of information about early childhood locally, nationally and internationally. We participate in training, research, and technical assistance activities around the world. GUCCHD also hosts groups and individuals to explore early childhood topics and be a part of project teams.

Current Partners

Azerbaijan

For over 20 years, faculty from the GUCCHD have partnered with United Aid For Azerbaijan (UAFA) to provide training and technical assistance on early intervention, inclusion, and deinstitutionalization.

Abu Dhabi 

In partnership with the Abu Dhabi (UAE) Early Childhood Authority, faculty from the GUCCHD provide training and technical assistance, and conduct research on a host of early childhood topics including child protection, early intervention, and early childhood mental health. Research Lectureship in Education

Through the Fulbright-NIAF-Georgetown University Research Lectureship in Education, GUCCHD hosts Fulbright Scholars from Italy to participate in training and research endeavors related to early childhood. Read More.

Kids Workshop

In partnership with Kids Workshop in Athens Greece, faculty from the GUCCHD provide training and technical assistance, related to early childhood intervention for young children with disabilities, developmental delays, or who are at-risk for developmental challenges.
